Arts and Crafts for Kids
Looking for some arts and crafts for kids for the next rainy day? This craft for kids is so much fun to create and can be done right at home. Weather your child is into finger painting or using a brush we have a great craft for kids for your childs next Picasso. This will not only keep it safe, it will be a wonderful way to present it as a gift.
Take an empty paper towel tube. Have your child decorate it anyway they desire. Once again, use craft supplies from around the house. When she has completed her work of art, roll it up and place it safely in the newly designed carrying case. Now it can be transported without worry of ruining the art work. This makes a great gift for a grandparent, aunt or uncle. They are getting a work of art all rolled up in its own gift wrap!
Another use for that paper towel tube is a rainmaker. You may also decorate the outside. Cover one end of the tube with waxed paper and secure it with a rubber band. Drop dried beans or split peas into the tube. Secure the other end as you did the first. Take toothpicks and punch them into the tube at different locations. When your child turns the tube upside down it will have a great rain sound.
