Kids Educational Actvities
You can join us in our efforts to clean up the earth. Quite simply model to your children the importance of recycling. If you are out and about with your child, make sure to take anything that is recyclable home and put it into the recycling bin instead of throwing it away. Let your children know that you are doing this because you want their world to be a safer and cleaner environment.
Another way is to do some spring cleaning even if it is not spring. Take an afternoon to clean out your childs closet or room. Have three boxes present so that the child does not feel as though you are taking away his things. One box can be labeled sentimental things, another dont need anymore and the third my treasures
Have them sort out their belongings. You might be surprised that when they know they can still keep some things they are more likely to part with others. You may need to guide them but it is important for them to feel that their feelings are important.
Once the sorting is done, the room and closet can be put back together with less clutter. You can take the items that your child no longer uses and donate them to charity or a local thrift store that donates to a certain cause. A trip to the ice cream parlor to celebrate your childs giving nature makes a great reward.

Kids Birthday Party Games
A kids treasure hunt is a simple game that can be played indoors or outside using any style you wish (just searching for items, following clues as a group or splitting into teams to race to a prize). Here is a general set of instructions for a fun activity for kids ages 5 to 13.
Find a simple hiding place for clues and prizes in your house or yard.
Write 6 or 7 clues on small squares of paper that allow the children to advance from one point to the next in their search for treasure.
Hide the clues so that one clue leads to the next based on the answer.
Begin the treasure hunt with an easy to read map or a short story with characters that need the childrens help to find the treasure.
Create characters that can help the children if they get lost along the way. These should be adults or older children who can give the teams clues to help them find their ultimate prize.
Modify the treasure hunt game to be played in teams with prizes for teams that solve the most clues.

Children’s Birthday Party: Royal Princess Party
Here is a childrens birthday party idea that is fit for a queen. We are going to show you just how easy it is to create a royal princess party for your little princess. You can find the perfect princess birthday party dress for your little princess at www.TreasureBoxKids.com.

Children's Birthday Party
Begin creating your royal princess party by getting a large appliance box. You can call any appliance store and they will be more than happy to have you to take it off their hands. Either cover it in butcher paper or spray paint it a solid color. Give the guests markers and crayons to decorate the castle. They will have fun with this theme party and can be creative at the same time.
For childrens birthday party games, begin with a treasure hunt. Hide gold coins throughout a designated area. Have the girls find the kings treasure that a trickster has scattered around the land. They will return the coins to a shoebox that has been painted gold to resemble the treasure box.
As a twist to an old party game have the girls play Mother may I using Your Majesty, May I. If you like piata fun, find a castle piata and have it filled with chocolate covered coins, small princess toys and jeweled rings.

Easy Kids Crafts
Take two large plastic disposable bowls and cut a large hole in the middle of one of the bowls. Take the other and cover or color the inside of the bowl blue. Glue cracker goldfish on the inside bowl. You can get very creative when designing this craft. For instance you can use pieces of silk greenery and rocks to line the bottom of the bowl. This will give the likeness to an actual aquarium. When you are done with the inside of the aquarium attach the bowl that has the large hole over the other bowl so that they form a ball.
Pull a string through the top of the connected bowls if you would like to hang this new fish tank craft in your childs room. Now you have your very own aquarium!
Tie die-butterflies: Most of us have at some time tie dyed shirts. It is fun activity for kids. Here is a tie dye idea that does not take a hot stove to create.
Take paper coffee filters and fold them in half. Dip them into different colors of kool-aide. The colors will naturally run and create a beautiful design. Or you can use colored markers to color the coffee filters. Then, dip them into water and let the colors run. When you open the dried coffee filters you will have beautiful butterflies.

Baby Gift
1. Purchase a laundry basket and use it place of a gift bag. You can line the basket with a soft baby blanket. Fill the basket with baby laundry detergent, baby wipes, etc.
2. For a unique baby shower gift, give a certificate for a class on CPR. Every new parent can benefit with this very useful and life saving class.
3. As the hostess, you can have each guest bring a little golden book to the baby shower. It is best to have a list when guests RSVP to be sure that all the books will be different. For a personal touch have them write a note to the new parents. Now, the parents have a starter set of golden books.
4. If you are running low on cash, purchase an inexpensive small stuffed animal. Attach coupons that you can make on the computer for your services. This might be one of the best baby gifts. You can offer things like making a meal when mom first comes home from the hospital, cleaning services after the baby is born or offer to take older children out for the day and give mom some time alone with the new baby.
These four shower ideas should be different and fun. The Mother to be will appreciate the extra effort as well.
