Kids Scrapbook
Welcome to the kids scrapbook, an imaginative and versatile craft project for children and adults. Each kids scrapbook page holds new adventures, hopes and memories of your child. Scrapbooks are a memory maker craft to express interest in sports, vacations, friendships, pets, dreams and more.
Young children can begin their memory makers by preserving tickets from special events they attended, drawings about family outings or handouts from a school play or graduation. Scrapbooking ideas are as varied as those who create them. We have included a few scrapbooking ideas for kids to enjoy.

Unique Baby Shower Gifts
Giving unique baby shower gifts are priceless and memorable ways to celebrate the arrival of a special newborn. Many families are scattered around the country and unable to be present to give unique baby shower gifts. One unique baby shower gift idea is to make a storytelling tape or compact disc.

Unique Baby Shower Gifts
Distant relatives who live far away may not be able to read their favorite books in person to a baby, but they can still share stories in a meaningful way — by making a recording of themselves reading one aloud. Label the recording, and send it with a copy of the book. Personalize the book with a picture and inscription and you will have created a unique baby shower gift to be treasured for years.

Big Phone Number
Using the big phone number game to teach your child about numbers and their own phone number. Each big phone number can be made from separate pieces of paper taped to the wall or floor like a telephone keypad, or make each big phone number from colorful felt.

Big Phone Number
Teach your child about numbers by making a beep sound each time they push one, and say the number asking your child to repeat the number. Pretend that the phone is ringing after pushing the correct sequence to teach your child about their own phone number. Older children will like the inexpensive activity of creating the big phone numbers for their siblings. The big phone number keypad can be a cherished activity to pass to future generations.

Adoption Baby Shower
Throw an adoption baby shower for a friend as a way to celebrate the long awaited arrival of their little one. People often forget that adoptive parents also appreciate and enjoy the chance to celebrate their new child. Because adoption timelines can be very unpredictable, an adoption baby shower has to wait until right before the baby comes home or even a few weeks after its arrival.
You should consider a baby shower theme that highlights something special about the adoptive parents or child. Consider the age of the child that is being adopted in order to determine what type of gifts to purchase.

Adoption Baby Shower
Steer away from baby shower games that focus on pregnancy during the adoption baby shower, instead keep the focus on games like baby shower bingo, baby bottle bowling, baby pictionary and the like. See our archived posts for more baby shower games and ideas.
An adoption shower can be for an older adopted child as well. Think of it as more of a birthday party with gifts for the child along with any items, such as clothes or furniture that he or she may need.
